The 9th Duhok IFF theme – Exodus

Theme In line with its tradition, every edition of the Duhok International Film Festival carries a theme that is reflected in the film program. This year’s theme is EXODUS in remembrance of all the people around the globe who have been forced to leave their homes and country. Among others, we will screen the film KLONDIKE by director Maryana Er Gorbach which premiered this year in Kyiv despite widespread blackouts in the city as well as the documentary FIVE DREAMERS AND A HORSE by the Armenian directors Vahagn Khachatratyan and Aren Malakyan.
